The Big 400

The Big 400 Show, organized by Chris Haberman, is coming up next weekend. The show opens Saturday, December 14 at 2:00, on the third floor of Pioneer Place in downtown Portland, and each work sells for $40! A steal! Proceeds support local artists, The Peoples Art of Portland Gallery, and The Oregon Food Bank. The annual show has grown to nearly 666 artist this year. Maybe it should be the big 700? Each artist does up to 10 works and the variety is staggering. Something for everyone. Come on out and support this worthy event. Art goes quickly, so hurry in for best selection!

Looking Forward to August

I am happy to inform you that I will be participating in the American Craft Council Show in San Francisco August 2-4. This juried event of fine crafts will feature excellent artists in the media of wood, glass, ceramics, jewelry, textiles, metal and stone, as well as other materials. I will be showing glass. It's my first time of dipping my foot into the big art show market, and I will have much to learn. I look forward to exhibiting my work to a larger audience and sharing my process with them. If you are planning a summer trip to the Bay Area, keep this in mind.
